About the event
About the event:
Rope flow is a movement method developed by WeckMethod that emphasises a low impact form of exercise where the rope moves around the body and the body moves around the rope without jumping. It's used to teach the body the rotational patterns used in walking, running, throwing and turning. The practice of rope flow aims to develop better balance, coordination, concentration, body awareness, and helps to to integrate the entire body's movement patterns in a fun, playful way.
What students can expect to gain from attending:
- A basic understanding of the fundamental concepts of rope flow
- How to navigate the 4 cardinal directions
- How to perform 4 to 5 new patterns that they can start doing right away from home
